"If I could put it into words, I would not go every day loading my camera."
~ Lewis Hine
"Moroccan architecture dates from 110 BCE with the Berber's massive pisé (mud brick) buildings. The architecture has been influenced by Islamization during the Idrisid dynasty, Moorish exiles from Spain, and also by France who occupied Morocco in 1912."

FÈS ROYAL PALACE
"This palatial complex in the centre of Fès el-Jedid is surrounded by high walls and covers more than 80 ha (195 acres). It was the main residence of the sultan, together with his guard and his retinue of servants. Part of the palace is still used by the king of Morocco when he comes to stay in Fès. The main entrance to the complex, on the huge Place des Alaouites, is particularly imposing by its magnificent Moorish gateway."
